Pink & Grey Block Stripe Basket

These fabulous, pink block colour baskets make beautiful planters, flower pots and desk tidies, bringing a splash of style to any corner of the home. Hand woven from sisal grass in three different sizes, striking bright pink and an earthy light grey.
These beautiful, ethically-produced baskets come in three sizes so there’s scope to use them all over the home: on your desk, in the bathroom, and even in the kitchen or on the dining room table, filled with fruit or bread. 
These baskets are handwoven by a small collective of female weavers living near the Masinga Dam in Kenya – one of seven dams on the River Tana. Their chairlady started managing basket production in 1993, and today she leads several groups with specific production roles from twisting to dyeing and weaving sisal fibres.
