Natural & Charcoal Stripe Basket

Earthy greys and Scandi hues all belong within this collection of handwoven baskets, handmade in Africa. Available in three different sizes and hand woven from local sisal grass, these natural woven baskets make beautiful plant pots and large planters as well as stylish and versatile storage baskets. Put these woven baskets to use as stylish storage baskets throughout the house - from the bathroom and the bedroom to the kitchen, the study, the living room and the kids play room.   
Narrow, charcoal grey stripes on a natural sisal base make these striped baskets a popular choice for those who favour monochrome and natural tones in the home. Hand woven by a small rural weaving cooperative in Kenya, these woven baskets come in three different sizes and can be used all over the home as fruit baskets and desk tidies, large planters, laundry baskets and much more. 
Sisal grass is purchased ready-rolled and is hand-dyed in large vats. Household soot is used to dye these baskets, collected and crushed before being added to boiling water.
